GRADE LEVEL
Kindergarten |
Thank you, PTO, for your generosity! We had a great time spending your money wisely! We started a new tradition in Kindergarten – Glow Day! The Kinder-Lions were excited to put their math and reading skills to use with the glow-in-the-dark activities. Thanks for all the supplies that made this day possible. We also purchased consumables that help reinforce learning throughout the year. Thanks for helping us make Kindergarten a fun place to be!

1st Grade |
We are all about learning and fun in First Grade! First graders are SUPERHEROES in training! As a grade level, we like to kick off the year in a SUPER way with superhero outfits to wear during our first few days of school! We also use our funds for classroom supplies like name tag sleeves, Seat Sacks, and Sneak-a-Peek give away items. We have numerous special days to celebrate throughout the year. A portion of our Lion Stampede money goes towards buying consumables and supplies for these exciting learning opportunities. Thank you, PTO, for your generous contributions and your help to make first grade a ROARING good time!

2nd Grade |
Second grade sends a HUGE SHOUT OUT to our amazing PTO for the generous way they support us every year! With the money provided from last year’s Lion Stampede we were able to purchase several items. We bought an iPad holder for our tripod and several short iPad cords which help us integrate technology to make our learning more engaging. Sentence strips, brightly colored paper, and oil pastels contribute to creative learning in our classes, while buckets of counting bears are making math even more hands-on fun! We were also able to buy several seat sacks to keep us organized. We are so grateful for your constant support!

3rd Grade |
Third grade is so appreciative of the Stampede funds which have helped us improve our student's educational experiences. This year we used our funds for fossil making materials, Kansas Day celebration supplies, sunglasses for sneak-a-peak souvenirs, Fire Muster goodies to enjoy in May, and an end of year gift for the students. Thank you to our fabulous RP parents for your continuous support!

4th Grade |
THANK YOU, PTO and the RP community, for your generous funds that have helped support our learning! This year, we were able to “Refresh” with brand new white boards, name plates to start the year, and continue supplementing our Science curriculum by buying consumables for our experiments. Thank you, PTO, for your continued support of RP teachers and students!

5th Grade |
Fifth grade says a HUGE thank you to all Lion Stampede Donors! With our grade level funds, we have been able to buy class sets of new 9/11-chapter books. We renewed our Flocabulary subscription, which allows students to learn and review concepts through catchy rap songs. Our 5th graders also participate in STEAM activities in our classrooms. We purchased supplies for fun science experiments and team-building activities (like Save Fred). We added many “Who Was/Is” books to our classroom libraries, which helps our students prepare for the 5th grade Wax Museum! We also purchased flexible seating arrangements with the money.

SPECIAL TEACHERS
Art |
Thank you, RP PTO!! Your support and generosity has helped the Art Room replenish many of our consumable materials such as construction paper, markers, crayons, paint, clay and watercolors. Through your support, RP Students continue to learn about the elements, principles, and subject matter in art. I thank you...and the RP Artists thank you!

Counselor |
Thank you, Regency Place PTO, for providing the Counseling Office with funds to purchase resources that help our children grow and develop mentally, socially, and emotionally. This year the money we were gifted went towards books, curriculum resources, and self regulation items that were used in classroom lessons, small group work, and in meeting individual needs. A portion of the funds was used to purchase classroom copies of the book “You Will DO Great Things” by Amerie. This book was used in conjunction with the Art Department to help students set goals and identify their personal strengths as we entered into the 2023-2024 school year. Regency Place students benefited from tools and materials that helped them identify, communicate and cope with emotions and stressors both in and outside of school. Thank you for your generosity.

ELL |
Thank you for supporting the ELL program! With the generous funds PTO provided we were able to purchase new, engaging materials for our NES students who are brand new to the country. The funds also made it possible for students to have new materials to practice their phonics, spelling and comprehension. They also LOVE their LCD writing tablets to share answers with the group! We are so grateful for the support PTO provides; we couldn't do it without you!
|
Health Room |
Thank you, PTO! Each year PTO funds are used to help keep the health room stocked with perishables such as snacks, water, lip balm, tooth holders, personal hygiene products, and even fresh, never worn undies for those times when there is an accident and a personal change of clothing isn’t available! PTO funds have also supported a portable, lighted vision cabinet for the health room, a magnifying exam light, and educational décor.

Library |
Thank You, PTO!!! What a year! Lion Stampede is an amazing event and with your help I was able to provide stickers and fun incentives into our library program this year. Kids love earning all the fun trinkets and rewards! Also, your support of the Birthday Book Program is essential! We couldn’t do it without you! Thank you!

Music |
With Stampede funds last year, Mr. W. was able to purchase instruments for primary and intermediate grades. Boomwhackers provide excellent introduction to team music making with pitched percussion instruments. Also purchased were tubano drums and additional ukuleles to continue the goal of 1:1 instrumentation for students making music in our classroom. Thank you for your continued support!

P.E. |
Thanks, RP PTO, for helping us have fun while we work on being healthy and fit! The funds were used to purchase equipment for field day activities, small group activities, and recess equipment. These funds also help replace existing equipment that has been worn out during the school year. Thanks RP Families for helping us stay active throughout the school year!
