Regency Place Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) plays a vital role in enriching the educational experience for students, teachers, and families. Here's a summary of our activities:

 

 

Supporting students:

  • Enhancing learning: Fundraising for classroom supplies, field trips, guest speakers, technology, and special programs.
  • Building community: Organizing fun events like family dances, breakfast gatherings, and holiday celebrations.
  • Providing resources: Supporting students facing a crisis with donations, household items, or scholarships.

 

Supporting teachers:

  • Appreciation: Organizing teacher appreciation events, gift drives, and meals.
  • Volunteer coordination: Helping teachers with classroom needs, holiday parties, or assisting with projects.
  • Advocacy: Raising awareness and support for educational initiatives important to teachers.

 

Building community:

  • Communication: Facilitating communication between parents and teachers through meetings, newsletters, and events.
  • Volunteering: Providing opportunities for parents to get involved in the school through various committees and activities.
  • School improvement: Collaborating with the school administration on issues like playground improvements, safety concerns, or school policies.
